When you develop a website it should represent your company. Do it the wrong way and you will send the wrong message to your potential customers.
I once had a client that wanted us to develop a website for him. As a normal procedure we tried to understand what his business is all about, and what he wants to achieve from the website. More sales? Show clients some examples of their works? Let his clients upload stuff? Many questions…
But he could care less. All he wanted was that we will create the website and leave him alone to do another phone call. Needless to say that he wasn’t happy with the website. That’s fine we’ve told him. What is that you don’t like.
He couldn’t say… and so on and on. The message is clear. We are here to help your internet business grow. For doing that, we need to understand your business and your goals.
Another client of us has a nice product that they wanted to sell. The profit margin was low, but still they wanted to spend a lot on Google ads. So they will pay $100 for 100 clicks which should generate them $50 profit. Not a good deal if you ask me. It took us long time to explain them that traffic is nice, but if you are losing money it is not good.
